Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku has appealed to the public to assist in bringing justice to the late Nana Pooley by providing information that could lead to the identification of the perpetrator.
Addressing the media, Okraku stressed the importance of honesty and civic responsibility, urging anyone with knowledge about the incident to come forward. “We call on everyone to be truthful and cooperate with the authorities,” he said. “Nana Pooley was a valued member of our football community, and we owe it to him and his family to help ensure justice is served.”
The GFA chief emphasized that football is not only about the game but also about community, integrity, and protecting the well-being of those involved in the sport. He encouraged members of the public, fans, and football stakeholders to assist law enforcement by providing any relevant information that could lead to the arrest of the individual responsible.
Okraku’s appeal comes as part of a broader effort by the GFA to support the family of Nana Pooley and to reinforce the association’s commitment to justice, safety, and accountability within the football community.
