Senegalese star Sadio Mané and his teammates have been generously rewarded following their victorious campaign at AFCON 2025, receiving $135,000 each alongside plots of land in recognition of their historic achievement.

The West African champions celebrated their success at the Confederation of African Football’s premier tournament, with the players’ remarkable performances bringing glory to the nation and delighting fans across Senegal.

Officials confirmed that the financial bonuses and land grants are a gesture of appreciation for the dedication, hard work, and professionalism displayed throughout the tournament. The rewards are also intended to encourage and support the players both on and off the field.

“This is a proud moment for our nation and for every player who contributed to this victory,” a Senegal Football Federation spokesperson said. “We hope these rewards inspire continued excellence and serve as a lasting reminder of this achievement.”

Mané, who played a pivotal role in Senegal’s campaign, expressed gratitude for the recognition while emphasizing the collective effort that led to the triumph. The squad’s success at AFCON 2025 has further cemented their legacy in African football and boosted the nation’s sporting pride.

The rewards come as a testament to the significance of the achievement and highlight how African nations continue to honor and incentivize excellence in football. Fans and officials alike are celebrating both the victory and the tangible recognition given to the players who made it possible.
