Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey has revealed that he has not yet decided whether to stay at Arsenal, with his contract set to expire at the end of June 2025.
Since joining from Atlético Madrid in 2020, Partey has been a key player but struggled with injuries in his early seasons. However, the 2024/25 campaign was his most consistent, featuring in 35 Premier League matches and feeling “at his best” physically.
Despite reports that Arsenal have opened talks for a one-year contract extension, Partey says no decision has been made. He stressed that his next move must balance ambition, family, and security, adding, “I’m an Arsenal fan too, but it’s up to the club, my agent, and me.”
Arsenal have already released Jorginho and are eyeing Martín Zubimendi from Real Sociedad to potentially form a new midfield trio with Declan Rice and Partey, should he extend his stay.
Since joining Arsenal, Partey has made 130 appearances and scored 9 goals. With the clock ticking, fans await to see if he will renew his commitment to the Gunners or move on to a new challenge.
