FC Samartex 1996 have confirmed that defender Ebenezer Acquah has completed a loan move to Al-Etsalat SC, marking the player’s first spell away from the club.
The Ghana Premier League side announced the development on Tuesday, stating that the temporary transfer is aimed at providing the young defender with increased playing time and valuable top-level experience.
Acquah, who joined Samartex in recent seasons, has been part of the club’s defensive unit and impressed with his work rate and positional awareness. The move to Al-Etsalat SC is expected to offer him regular competitive football and an opportunity to further his development.
Club officials believe the loan spell will benefit both the player and Samartex, allowing Acquah to return as a more seasoned and confident defender upon completion of the agreement. No financial details or duration of the loan were disclosed.
Al-Etsalat SC, meanwhile, have strengthened their squad with the acquisition, as they look to bolster their defensive options ahead of the new campaign.
FC Samartex 1996 wished Acquah well in his loan stint and expressed confidence that he will represent the club positively before returning to continue his progress.
