Asante Kotoko have been drawn against Aduana Stars in the Round of 16 of the MTN FA Cup, setting up a thrilling all-Premier League encounter in Ghana’s oldest knockout competition.

The draw, conducted by the Ghana Football Association, has paired the Porcupine Warriors with the Dormaa-based side in what promises to be one of the standout fixtures of the round, given the long-standing rivalry and competitive history between the two clubs.

Kotoko booked their place in the Round of 16 after navigating a tough earlier stage, while Aduana Stars also impressed to advance, maintaining their reputation as one of the most resilient teams in domestic football.

Both sides will be eager to secure a place in the quarter-finals as they chase MTN FA Cup glory and a potential route to continental football. Kotoko, record holders of the competition, will be aiming to add another trophy to their cabinet, while Aduana Stars are determined to make a deep run in the tournament.

Football fans across the country are already anticipating an intense contest, with the fixture expected to attract significant attention due to the quality and experience on both sides.

The Round of 16 matches are scheduled to be played in the coming weeks, with venues and kickoff times to be confirmed by the Ghana Football Association.
