Nations FC head coach Frimpong Manso has acknowledged the quality of Medeama SC ahead of their upcoming Ghana Premier League encounter but insists his side is fully focused on securing all three points.
Speaking in a pre-match interview, Manso described Medeama as one of the most competitive teams in the league, praising their organization, experience and attacking threat. However, the Nations FC boss made it clear that respect for the opposition will not change his team’s winning mentality.
“Medeama are a strong side with quality players and a good system,” Manso said. “But we are playing to win. We know what is at stake and we must approach the game with confidence and determination.”
The former Ghana international emphasized the importance of tactical discipline and concentration, noting that Medeama are capable of punishing mistakes. He urged his players to remain focused throughout the match and execute the game plan effectively.
Manso also highlighted the progress his team has made in recent weeks, pointing to improved performances and growing belief within the squad. According to him, the fixture presents another opportunity for Nations FC to measure themselves against top-level opposition.
“We have prepared well and the players understand their responsibilities,” he added. “If we stay disciplined and take our chances, we can get the result we want.”
Nations FC will be hoping to build on their recent form as they face Medeama in what promises to be a highly competitive league clash. With both sides targeting positive results, the match is expected to deliver an intense battle on the pitch.
